Textile Printing Thickeners
In the textile printing and dyeing industry, printing thickening agents are a critical additive that significantly improve printing quality and enhance production efficiency. During the printing process, dyes typically require the addition of an appropriate amount of thickening agent to increase their viscosity and stability. The mechanism of action of printing thickening agents lies in their ability to adsorb onto the surfaces of dye particles through electrostatic interactions, causing them to aggregate and form larger particles, thereby achieving a thickening effect.Additionally, thickeners improve the flowability of printing inks, making them easier to handle during the printing process.
Functions of thickeners:
** they impart a certain viscosity and adhesion to the printing paste to ensure the clarity of the pattern contours;
** paste agents serve as dispersing media and diluents for dye chemicals, acting as carriers for dye transfer;
** they function as moisture absorbers, wetting agents, dye stabilizers, and protective colloids during steam treatment.
PRE-TREARMENT CHEMICAL
Digital printing paste is a pre-treatment slurry composed of multi-component polymer salts for digital direct-to-fabric printing. It offers numerous advantages including simple slurry preparation, high color saturation, vivid hues, fine pattern outlines, high clarity, stable color development, and exceptional washability. Suitable for reactive and disperse dye digital printing pre-treatment processes on fabrics such as cotton, silk, and polyester.
Disperse Dyes Printing Thickeners
The primary mechanism of action for disperse dye printing thickeners is to enhance the stability and flow properties of printing pastes by increasing their viscosity and consistency. During the printing process, the printing paste must possess sufficient viscosity to ensure pigments adhere uniformly to the textile, preventing bleeding or blurring. Dispersion printing thickeners form a uniform dispersed phase within the paste, increasing its viscosity and thereby enhancing the printing effect.
Reactive Dyes Printing Thickeners
In the textile printing and dyeing industry, printing thickeners serve as a critical additive that significantly enhances printing results and boosts production efficiency. During the printing process, dyes typically require the addition of an appropriate amount of thickener to increase their viscosity and stability. Primarily used in screen printing
