SIDLEY participated in the Saudi Arabian Coatings Exhibition in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, February 13-15, 2023.
The exhibition is hosted by DMG Events (MEA) Ltd., a well-known media company in the UK. It holds every two years and is currently the only professional coatings exhibition in Saudi Arabia. During the exhibition, the company met customers from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bahrain, and other countries. In particular, the performance of Hydroxyethyl Cellulose can replace NATROSOL 250HBR, and it also meets customer requirements regarding biological stability—recommended model: HE-40000E. We also recommended Carboxymethyl Cellulose to customers. This product is widely used in engineering coatings. It will not cause viscosity during short-term storage, has better thickening and stability, and can extend the construction time. While we also participated in a technical briefing in the BYK Addictives on HPMC. We introduced the characteristics of HPMC, like retaining moisture and protecting colloids. In addition, HPMC also has the features of thickening ability, salt resistance, low ash powder, pH stability, water retention, dimensional stability, excellent film forming, and a wide range of enzyme resistance, dispersibility, and cohesiveness.
NATROSOL truly has outstanding products; however, the high price also brings enormous economic burdens to coating manufacturers.
