This year’s theme is “Coatings and Technologies for a Resilient Future.”

The American Coatings Association will host its 2025 CoatingsTech Conference April 28-30, 2025 at the Omni William Penn in Pittsburgh, Pa. This biennial conference features multi-track sessions, industry awards, and presentation opportunities for new developments and research for both industry professionals and students centered on the theme, “Coatings and Technologies for a Resilient Future.”

Prior to the conference opening, ACA will be offering four Pre-Conference Short Courses on the morning of April 28.

Kicking off the conference, Andrea Wagner Watts, building science education manager at GAF, will deliver the keynote address, “Future-proofing Buildings: Pushing the Envelope Toward a More Resilient Future.” With more than 15 years of industry experience, she works to improve the overall performance of the building enclosures through application innovation, product development and building science research.

The afternoon of the conference’s first day and full second day will feature nearly 40 technical sessions across nine topical areas of research and applications for attendees to customize their learning agenda.

The conference third day will be a dedicated Service Life Prediction with a lineup of experts in this field.
