1. Color blooming

Manifestation:

Due to inconsistent drying time and insufficient thickness of the batch, the problem of color blooming is prone to occur in summer;

or the problem of color blooming is also prone to occur when rain is encountered after construction before the mortar strength comes up.

Solution:

1. In summer, appropriately improve the early strength and water retention performance to make the drying time of the mortar consistent.

Recommendation: Increase the amount of cellulose ether and early strength agent added.

2. We should avoid construction in rainy weather to reduce the occurrence of color blooming.

Note: In most cases, the problem of color blooming does not affect the strength and quality of the product in the later stage, so there is no need to worry too much.

Recommendation: Avoid construction in rainy weather.

2. Powdering problem in winter

Manifestation:

In winter, the temperature is low, and the hydration of cement is slow. If hydration does not occur for a long time, the final strength will not be achieved or will be achieved slowly, resulting in chalking of the mortar.

Solution:

Reduce the amount of cellulose ether in winter, while increasing the early strength.

Recommendation: Reduce the amount of cellulose ether added and increase the amount of early strength agent added.
