Strengthens Global Position of VERIFI® On-the-Way Concrete Management System by Expanding Partnership with Singapore’s Largest Concrete and Cement Supplier
CAMBRIDGE, Mass., March 11, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — GCP Applied Technologies Inc. (NYSE: GCP), a leading global provider of building product technologies, today announced it has entered into an agreement with Pan-United Concrete Pte Ltd., Singapore’s largest concrete and cement supplier. Pan-United Concrete Pte Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore-listed Pan-United Corporation Ltd. The agreement will implement GCP’s VERIFI® Concrete-in-Transit Management System for Pan-United’s fleet of more than 300 concrete mixers in the Singapore market.
“With this agreement with Pan-United, we have taken an important step in driving the global growth of the VERIFI® Concrete Management System and strengthening our position in the Asia-Pacific market,” said Dr. Boudewijn Van Lent, Executive Vice President Specialty Construction Chemicals at GCP. ”Pan-United is a globally recognized leader in concrete technology innovation, and we are excited to partner with them to continue improving the quality, consistency and efficiency of concrete delivery.”

The VERIFI® Concrete-in-Transit Management System uses sensors installed on the concrete mixer truck to monitor, measure and manage the performance of concrete in transit, providing advanced automated process monitoring and control during delivery from the ready-mix concrete plant to the jobsite. The VERIFI® system provides a higher level of concrete quality control and helps improve product consistency from truck to truck, reducing off-spec product, improving jobsite efficiency and minimizing the cost of project delays. In addition, the technology offers a number of environmental benefits, including the potential to reduce cement usage, reduce waste and improve fuel efficiency.
“The VERIFI® System is a groundbreaking innovation for the construction industry. It sets a higher standard for concrete quality, workability management and consistency. It also improves our operational efficiency and demonstrates our commitment to sustainability,” said Ken Loh, Chief Operating Officer of Pan-United Corporation Ltd. ‘Pan-United is excited to expand the use of the VERIFI® System across our fleet. This is a critical step in driving deeper innovation, improving efficiencies and delivering sustainable solutions for our customers in the concrete industry,’ added Mr. Loh.
