What is water reducing agent
Water reducing agent is a kind of concrete admixture that can reduce the water consumption of mixing under the condition of maintaining the slump of concrete basically unchanged. Most of them are anionic surfactants.
After joining the concrete mixture has a dispersing effect on the cement particles, can improve its workability, reduce the unit water consumption, improve the fluidity of the concrete mixture; or reduce the unit cement consumption, saving cement.

What are the types of water reducing agent
According to the appearance form
Divided into water agent and powder. The solid content of aqueous agent is generally 10%, 20%, 40% (also called mother liquor), 50 %, and the solid content of powder is generally 98%.
According to the water reducing and enhancing ability
Divided into ordinary water reducing agent (also known as plasticizer, water reduction rate of not less than 8%, represented by lignosulfonate class), high-efficiency water reducing agent (also known as superplasticizer, water reduction rate of not less than 14%, including naphthalene, miamine, aminosulfonate, aliphatic, etc.) and high-performance water reducing agent (water reduction rate of not less than 25%, represented by polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent), and were divided into the early-strength type, the standard and slow-setting type.
According to the composition of materials
Lignin sulfonates, polycyclic aromatic salts, water-soluble resin sulfonates, naphthalene-based high-efficiency water reducing agents, aliphatic high-efficiency water reducing agents, amino high-efficiency water reducing agents, polycarboxylic acid high-performance water reducing agents and so on.
According to chemical composition
Lignin sulfonate water reducing agent, naphthalene high efficient water reducing agent, melamine high efficient water reducing agent, amino sulfonate high efficient water reducing agent, fatty acid high efficient water reducing agent, polycarboxylate high efficient water reducing agent.

What is the role of water reducing agent
Without changing the proportion of various raw materials (except cement) and concrete strength, it can reduce the amount of cement.

In the case of not changing the proportion of various raw materials, can greatly improve the rheology and plasticity of concrete, so that the concrete construction can be used to self-flow, pumping, without vibration and other ways of construction, improve the construction speed, reduce construction energy consumption.
Adding high efficient water reducing agent for concrete can improve the life of concrete by more than double, even if the normal service life of the building is extended by more than double.
Reduce the shrinkage rate of concrete solidification, preventing cracks in concrete members; improve frost resistance, favoring winter construction.
