São Paulo, Brazil – SidleyChem successfully participated in Concrete Show South America 2026, held from August 25 to 27 at São Paulo Expo in São Paulo, Brazil. As one of the major events serving the concrete, construction, and infrastructure industries in Latin America, the exhibition brought together manufacturers, technology providers, suppliers, and industry professionals from across the region.
During the three-day event, SidleyChem welcomed visitors at Booth D140j, where the company presented its portfolio of concrete admixtures, dry-mix mortar additives, and functional chemical solutions.
Product Solutions for Concrete and Mortar Applications
At the exhibition, SidleyChem showcased a range of solutions designed to help concrete and mortar manufacturers improve product performance and optimize formulations.
The featured products included polycarboxylate superplasticizers (PCE), water reducers, viscosity modifying agents, set accelerators and retarders, air-entraining agents, defoamers, shrinkage-reducing admixtures, synthetic fibers, steel fibers, and waterproofing solutions.
SidleyChem also introduced solutions for dry-mix mortar applications, including cellulose ethers, water-retention and rheology modifiers, redispersible polymer powders, starch ethers, and other functional additives for applications such as tile adhesives, plasters, repair mortars, and self-leveling materials.
Through these products, the SidleyChem team discussed practical formulation requirements including workability, water reduction, setting control, durability, shrinkage control, water retention, and rheological performance.
Technical Discussions and Customer Communication
One of the highlights of the exhibition was the direct communication between the SidleyChem team and industry professionals from Brazil and other international markets.
Visitors shared their specific formulation requirements and production challenges with the SidleyChem technical and sales teams. Discussions covered product selection, formulation optimization, application performance, and potential cooperation.
These face-to-face conversations provided valuable insight into the needs of the Latin American construction chemicals market. They also allowed SidleyChem to better understand the performance requirements of concrete and mortar manufacturers operating under different production conditions and project environments.
For SidleyChem, the exhibition was not only an opportunity to present products, but also an important platform for exchanging technical knowledge and developing long-term business relationships.
Strengthening SidleyChem’s Presence in Latin America
Concrete Show South America 2026 further strengthened SidleyChem’s connection with the Latin American construction industry.
The official event brought together more than 450 brands across an exhibition area of more than 36,000 square meters, creating a broad platform for technology exchange and business networking within the construction and infrastructure supply chain.
