SidleyChem observes that WEG has announced its coatings business unit in Argentina has signed an energy supply agreement with 360Energy, a company that generates electricity exclusively from solar power, officially transitioning to 100% clean energy in its production processes.

Through this partnership, WEG’s coatings facility will avoid approximately 223 tons of CO₂ emissions per year. 360Energy supplies clean electricity through its photovoltaic solar plants, directly supporting WEG’s global sustainability strategy of promoting industrial decarbonization and renewable energy adoption.
