On November 4, 2026, SidleyChem organized a fire safety training session and practical drill for employees from its laboratory and production departments. The activity combined essential fire prevention knowledge with hands-on extinguisher practice to strengthen workplace safety awareness and emergency preparedness.

Fire Safety Training and Risk Prevention
The session began with a safety briefing covering the proper use and inspection of firefighting equipment, including how to check fire extinguisher pressure gauges and identify potential equipment issues.
Participants also reviewed everyday fire prevention measures, such as keeping emergency access routes clear, maintaining orderly material storage, observing no-smoking requirements, and taking precautions around laboratory heating equipment.
The discussion emphasized that preventing workplace accidents begins with awareness and attention to daily operations.

Hands-On Fire Extinguisher Practice
Following the briefing, employees participated in an outdoor fire extinguisher exercise.
Laboratory and production team members took turns operating extinguishers on a practice fire, gaining firsthand experience with the equipment and its basic operating procedures.
The exercise helped employees become more familiar with firefighting equipment and reinforced the importance of responding appropriately to potential fire emergencies.
