The recognition was achieved with HereShield, an advanced technological solution incorporated following the acquisition of Heresite Protective Coatings. Heresite is a global reference in the segment of special coatings for HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration), offering a complete product line that combines high performance and sustainability.

These exclusive coatings are designed to increase equipment efficiency and extend its lifespan, with thermal transfer losses below 1%, meeting the high demands of industrial applications.

The HereShield WB-506 stood out as an innovative water-based, air-cured coating, specifically developed to protect heat exchangers and HVAC equipment. Its single-component formulation allows for practical and efficient application, either by spraying or dipping, with ultra-fast drying.

The product offers excellent chemical resistance, making it ideal for highly corrosive environments, while maintaining minimal influence on thermal transfer.

The award was granted due to the originality of the solution, its environmental efficiency, benefits for the end-user, and economic feasibility, reinforcing WEG’s commitment to leading sustainable transformation in the industry.
