Cement Grinding Aid Admixture

01 Overview

Cement grinding aids are chemical additives designed to enhance the grinding efficiency and performance of cement. They significantly increase cement hourly output and strength at various ages, improve workability, and consequently reduce grinding energy consumption.

02 Cement Grinding Aid Admixture

The AGA series of acetylene alcohol amines are water-soluble amine copolymers specifically developed for cement grinding aids. They are primarily polymerised from tetramethyldecyne diol and 2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol. During the grinding process, the AGA series maintains excellent cement dispersibility while retaining the polarity inherent to its amine structure. It can partially replace diethyl mono-isopropanolamine, delivering enhanced quality and reduced costs. The typical substitution rate is 20-40% of the amine dosage.

PRODUCT FAMILY TYPE FEATURES AND RECOMMENDATIONS DESCRIPTION STANDARD

Product Application

While enhancing the performance of grinding aids, it achieves an optimal balance between grinding efficiency, cement particle size, standard consistency, durability, reinforcement properties, and air-entraining capacity, effectively boosting later-stage strength. It significantly reduces agglomeration phenomena, facilitating easier control during cement production.

  • Excellent water solubility and compatibility with grinding aids
  • Low sensitivity and stability, making it an ideal aid for cement production
  • No discharge of waste water, waste gas or waste residue during production
  • Non-toxic to humans and environmentally safe during use

03 Usage Method

This product requires actual grinding to achieve optimal performance. During trials, conduct comparative testing using standard formulations, perform standardised grinding procedures, and assess the product’s grinding efficiency alongside testing cement strength at various ages.

1. Replace 20-40% of the diisopropanolamine in the grinding aid formulation with an equivalent weight of this product, maintaining all other components unchanged.
2. To ensure scientific rigour, conduct multiple stepwise trials within the 20%-40% range.
