Melamine-based superplasticizers are a type of high-range water-reducing admixture used in concrete and mortar mixtures. They belong to the class of melamine formaldehyde sulfonate condensates and are known for their excellent dispersing properties, which significantly improve workability and strength.
Properties of Melamine-Based Superplasticizers:
- Excellent water-reducing effect, effectively lowering mortar/concrete viscosity and improving workability;
- Low air-entraining capacity and low retarding properties, enhancing early strength of the material;
- Can improve surface gloss after material hardening.
Advantages:
- Reduced water-cement ratio: Leads to higher density and durability.
- Improved flowability: Facilitates placement in dense reinforcement or complex forms.
- Cost-effective: Reduces cement consumption due to higher efficiency.
- Minimal air entrainment: Maintains a good surface finish and reduces shrinkage cracking.
Recommended Application:
It exhibits excellent compatibility with both cement-based and gypsum-based materials, finding extensive applications in wear-resistant flooring, joint fillers, refractory materials, mold plaster, GRG plaster, and precast components.
Method of Use
Package into finished products after mixing with other dry powder components evenly, and use it after mixing with the recommended amount of water on site.
The recommended addition amount is 0.1-1.50% of the cementitious material, which needs to be determined in advance based on raw materials and construction specifications.

Storage Conditions
The product should be stored in a dry and clean environment in the original packaging and away from heat sources. This product is not easy to fail, but it is a hydrophilic-based product. If the storage environment is poor, it will slowly absorb water. It is recommended to follow the first-in first-out principle when using it.
If the product is not used up, the packaging must be tightly sealed to prevent moisture intrusion.
Product Safety
According to laws and regulations on dangerous goods and preparations, this product is harmless. The formation and accumulation of dust should be avoided. Scattered products should be cleaned up in a dry state. There is a risk of slipping when contacted with water. For detailed information, please contact us.
